Default Recommendations for rear shocks?

Looking forrecommendations for replacement shocks for the rear of my 01 Ram 1500 4X4. I have a set of Hellwig LP-35 Helper Springs on it to help with pulling my 8000 lb fifth wheel camper, but the current shocks are shot.

My trucks not lifted, so stock size wil lwork, just wondering what brands everybody would recommend.

I like all the shocks by Monore. Senatrac is my fav.

Decided on the Heavy Duty Bilstein Shocks as replacements. Since they are lifetime warranty and I plan on keeping the truck another 5 to 7 years I felt they were my best option.

I was just curious but how are you towing 8000 lbs without ruining the axle? Did you do anything to the bearing in the axle so that they don't freeze to the axle shafts?

She pulls the trailer just fine. No issues there. I am planning on upgrading to 3.92 gears ( have a complete set already on the shelf) and I found a mechanic that will swap out both axles and replace all 7 u-joints for $600 labor. Probably get it done sometime this fall.

BTW, I have a temp sensor in my rear axle housing and the temp has never shown over 180 degrees so I don't think that I will encounter bearing weld as you describe. I currently run Valvoline 75W140 synthetic but once I upgrade to the new gears will be running AMSOIL.
