I turn off the engine and I hear a crinkle noise in the engine. You hear it on some other vehicles but it's fairly new on mine (170k miles). The last time I heard this on a vehicle, I was really low on oil and I guess the noise was from the heat. I'm not losing oil so I don't know why she's doing this now.
Also, my low oil light that's been coming on lately, and can't figure out why, ONLY comes on after I've run her at highway speeds and then stop at a stop light. Just regular around town doesn't do it.
I don't know what the problem is. Anyone? - thanks

RE: Crinkle Noise
No, not the noise. Just the drive to work will do it. (13 miles one way, never over 45 mph)
