Damn man, that looks really good. Making me think about tearing out my plastic bed liner and doing the same thing. I never saw anyone else paint a spray in bed liner, but thats the way to go.

Only think I like better than that is diamond plated steel, and that's expensive.

Looks really good!
Did you spray the liner yourself?
Did you clean up the rust and prime the bed first before spraying the liner?
Use a regular automotive gun to spray it and how was the clean up if you did?
Assume you scuffed the line and used adhesion promoter before painting it?
What paint did you use?
Costs?

Curious minds want to know

lol..thank you... first i sanded down the bed with 220 grit not much of sand paper enough to scuff it up.
i use the herculiner rolled it on cost 89.00 gallon but i used 2.
now i could of use the spray gun , i could of used the sand blaster but how many has that ? so i use what came in the can except the sand paper i got at local store... i didnt use any adhesion or primer..i just followed the directions on the box... the herculiner was put on 3 weeks ago. and you cant but anything on it for 24/48 hours.. the spray paint (red) i got at walmart rustoleum , takes longer to dry but the results are nice. 6 cans
total price i got into it is around $210.00.
the key part of this is the weather , temp, humidity
i did all of this in the sun (hot) so the paint would bake...24 hour dry time before use... another thing is i took paint when i was in votech , .few years ago..lol... that helped.. but with the roll on heculiner i just followed the directions...painting it red was my idea...
Now clean up and over spray , yes over spray (**** happens) over spray i use brake cleaner (thats right) cleans right up.. of course if you get it on body dawn works good , this is with the spray paint....
clean up with herculiner ..(LOL) what a PITA to get off the skin scrub , scrub thats all in gonna say dont scratch anywhere it will be on that to...clothes dont wear anything good it will stay there..wear gloves easy to clean your self...
so far i used herculiner in my wheel wells , and my fuel tank...\

here is a good read
How do i get herucliner off my hootus ?

Yeah Ive seen that Herculiner on my hootus before lmao.

Thanks for allthe details. Im still debating my options. Tornbetween a spray in liner (do it myself/or have it done) or going with a bed rug.
