Until they do proper tests
I would consider e3 a scam.

e3 had a booth at the SAE convention a couple years ago
and the engineers all were very skeptical
especially since e3 makes claims of gains
with doing a proper
TMC/SAE Type MPG test to prove it.

Reputable companies are now doing TMC/SAE MPG tests
like this one by Goodyear:
================
The right way to do it

Goodyear goes by the book with Fuel Max test

When Goodyear introduced its new Unisteel tires with Fuel Max technology last
year, and claimed that they were more fuel-efficient than its older designs,
the company invited the press to come to its San Angelo Proving Grounds in
Texas and observe an SAE/TMC Type II fuel consumption test, pitting old
against new.

In this case, two identical tractor-trailers - a control rig and a test rig
with the same powertrain, mileage, horsepower, GCW, tires, pressure, etc. -
were fitted with removable, portable fuel tanks, which were weighed before and after identical runs of at least 28 miles at the exact same highway speed.
Fuel consumption was measured by tank weight, and the two rigs were compared as a baseline. Three runs, which must produce results within 2 percent of each other, were made. In this case, the two rigs' fuel consumption figures were consistently within 1 percent of each other.

Next, the test was repeated, with the control rig unchanged, and the test
truck fitted with the component to be tested - in this case, the new tires.
Over the course of three runs, with results within 2 percent of each other,
the test truck had consumed about 7.5 percent less fuel per run.

Claim made, point proved, case closed.

Look at these!
http://www.pulstarplug.com/howtheywork.html

Fox,

I've got a feeling you'll be trying these.Let us know how they work. I'd be scared to try them with a MSD Ignition setup, the way those things chew thru plugs and distributor caps.
NOOOOOO not at that price. I'll wait for some feedback from someone else.
After reading everything on those plugs and having a little flexability with trying new stuff out like those plugs, I think that I might give those plugs a try. I'll have to split the costs between paychecks like buy 2 now and 3 next payday then 3 the payday after that, but I might do it. Now I just need to look into wires, cap, and rotor.

You've got to keep us in the loop on those. Hey,contact the company and tell them the forum wants a guinea pig and you'll do it for a reduced price and recommend them if they work.

That is not a bad idea, I'm going to try that.

Well, I just sent an e-mail out to them and hopefully I hear something good by tomorrow.

my opinion is that there a waist of money as long as you gap the plugs and use the correct ones and do plugs wires and cap a rotor youll notice a difference not crazy or anything its not like your putting a cam in the motor

The simple 'mod' of un-screwing your sparkplugs
and then screwing these same old ones back in
will knock loose carbon deposits in the combustion chamber
and make a 5.9 V8 engine run a little better
with less pinging...but the deposits come back within 1500 miles.

So just about any sparkplug company
has a good chance of getting
"satisfied customers"
even if the plug does nothing.
