ABS Braking
Hi all! We have been getting quite a bit of snow up here in Canada for the last few but yesterday was the first really bad day for ice on the roads. This is the first winter I've had my '96 Ram and I was wondering about the ABS. In the past the vehicles that I have driven have all had ABS and when it is needed you can hear the clicking and feel the pulsing in the brake petal. I can't hear or feel the ABS engaging on my Ram but I'm pretty sure it is working, took it out yesterday and was testing it. Is this normal for a truck and would I be able to tell if it isn't working?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Ya, I cant really tell either that its working. You just kinda know. There is a HUGE difference GM ABS and Dodge ABS though.

Yes ... pat yourself on the back that you have such an effectivebraking system. Few 2nd Gen owners can lock 'em up with just a stock set-up. Are you sure that you have 4 wheel ABS (as opposed to just RWAL)?
Also ... you'll undoubtedly get better information if you posted your question to the 3rd Gen section.
