Noticed that BOTH of my fog lights weren't working this morning, so go to looking into it, just figured it was the fuse. Nope, fuse is okay, so then checked the wires. Found a pinched wire, stripped the bad part out, spliced it together, still nothing. Is there an in-line fuse or something i am missing?? What else should i check??? Parking lights and Head Lights work, everything else works, just no fog lights...??

 

I hate to ask if you checked the bulbs.

 

I feel bad saying this also but were your high beams on? if my hight beams are my fogs wont work

 

ya i checked the bulbs, made sure hi-beam's were not on, fog lights button was on, all the simple stuff but i dont know what else it could be. That wire was pinched for a few days (probably from when i took my tow hooks off to put my grill guard on)however they worked for a few days before failing, now they dont work at all.

 

I had the fog light switch go outin my '99 shortly after I bought it. My switch is a rotate **** to turn on the headlights and you pull the same **** out to turn the fog lights on. When the switch went out, the headlights still worked but the fogs didn't. I think '99 is when dodge updated the dash so we probably have different switches but it could be the same problem

 

Yeah i have a separate button for my fog lights, indicator light on the button illuminates when they are supposed to be on, also can hear contacts clicking in the fuse box underneath the hood, havent had time to get a meter out on it yet buti'm running out of ideas.............
