Default WHAT GEARS? (size)

Ok I have 33inNitto Terra Grapplers on my truck now. In a couple months I am going to be putting mud grapplers on.

I have 3.92 gears in my truck right now. I am having a problem with low end about 0-45mph. Its slow and sluggish, but when it hits to about 55mph it rips and pulls hard. What kind of gearsshould I get for my truck?

can you help me out.

thanks

no 3.55 gears will make it worse, if you wanna get some more prefrmance/power out if it you need to bring your tire/gear ratios all back to closer to where it was set up from stock so if you go bigget tire you need smaller gear (bigger number ie 3.55 drive shaft turns 3.55 times for one tire rotation 4.10 driveshaft turns 4.10 times per 1 tire rotation) if you habe 3.92/ 33in now tires that will be close to stock your next option will be 4.10 gears (a little lower than stock so your rpm's will be sligltley higher) 4.10 seams to be the gear of choice for 35's as a DD

i have stock 4.10 and stock tires of 265/75/16. love em. ill be going to a 285/75/16 (which are 33's) in a few months when i need tires. i have no worries about the power with the gearing i have now. also, like ryan said, they (4.10's) are good for 35's as DD. Any tire biggerthen 35's,and you might want to get a lower gear.
