It started w/ the tranny not down shifting into first when i came to a stop. Upon take off, it would start in second, unless i manually downshifted into first and upshifted afterwards. Replaced the governor shift selenoid, pressure switch, did a fluid change. Shifted fine on my way home. Next morning, back to the same problems. So i drove it like this for a little while (alway smanually downshifting so as not to slip the tranny). Now, the tranny wont lock up, along with the original problem. My local dealer seems to think it is a computer issue. Before I spend $200 on a new computer, I wanted to hear another opinion or two on these symptoms. The truck has 120K on it, w/ religious maintenance done to it. I seem to think that it might just be time for a new trans.... Thanks.
