Default starter trouble!!

have a 99 ram, 5.2 that has starting trouble. firts time, old starter was dragging and turning over very slow, and one day, it stuck meaning after it started, starter was still engaged, and after turning key off, starter was still turning motor over. put on new starter, and went well for about a day, then same thing. got a new starter ign relay from local autoparts, put it in, and would just click, nothing else. got one from Dodge dealer today, put it in, and same thing, just clicks. had previously swapped one from blower motor circuit(same relay), and is starting and turning off just fine so far. this is getting to be a pain to have to unhook battery cable after turning it off just to get starter to quit! anyone else have this trouble before, and how do i fix it? asked Dodge mechanic about ign switch itself, and he said that dodge switches have a default built in, and either they work right or they do nothing at all. very rarely will an ign switch go out! any ideas on where to go next? key tumbler is $99, and if i replace electronic module on tumbler, its another $69.
