how do i remove a headlight?
my truck was in an accident last year i had to replace the headlight and teh front fender on the passenger side, the problem is i did it in the winter[&:], so now it has condensation built up in the main headlight, how do i remove just the cover?
thanks, but im going to try another solution first, i'll try pulling out the bulb and shove a small towel in the socket and attempt to wipe out the condensation.
Yeah the only way to gain access to the inside cover of the headlight is through the bulb hole. It's small, but if you have a small child you could put them to good use
... Otherwise the only way is to buy an entirely new headlight assembly. Those run anywhere from 50 to 100 bucks.

You can also hook up a vacuum source (shop vac. , vac. pump, etc.) to the bulb hole and leave it run for a half hour or so. You need a good seal though.
Another solution is to put some silica pacs in the light for a while and re-install the bulb. They will absorb the moisture.
Finally, you can drill a small (1/8") hole in the TOP of the housing to let the moisture evap. naturally and then caulk the hole later.
