i plan on buying a 14x3 round air cleaner from my local napa.. what else do i need to complete the install? like the bolt that goes through it nd all that, is that all i would need nd would napa sell one that would fit my 5.9?

 

A 1/4 20 bolt but you will have to bend it your self like a s

 

Go to Menards and purchase a piece of 1/4 inch 20 all-thread. Bend an "S" in it where there is about an inch difference between the top and the bottom. Thencut it to thelength needed. A 1/4 inch 20 thread stainless steel wingnut will complete your install.

 

thanks guys but im still confused as to how it all fits together.. does the bolt just go through the air cleaner and that holds it all together or wat? how does the air cleaner stay secured on top of the tb? a pic would help me out ALOT, im a visual learner lol..

 

The TB dose have a bolt hole for the bolt to go in but it is offset so you have to bend the bolt

ohh so there is alreadya bolt hole in the tb.. that helps alot man thanksi appreciate it, i love this place, i always get answered what i need here and its always so quick..
