Default Professional way to tap High Beam wiring?

I'm interested in hearing what you fellas think would be the best, most professional method for drawing power off the high beam switch. This would be power for the driving light switch, not to energize my KC SlimLite driving lights, which are powered via relay. This would be on my 1999 2500 V10 quad cab.

I know one way would be to use a ScotchLok connector to tap into the harness behind the panel underneath the steering wheel, but I'm just not comfortable with that. I'd prefer to leave the factory wiring un-molested, if possible.

Ideally, I'd like to find some point in the wiring where I could mechanically attach a connector so that if I ever remove the lights, no one could tell I'd ever had them installed (other than the two holes in the front bumper!).

I've read through the 2001 service manual PDF file, but I haven't turned up anything... anyone have any suggestions??

THANKS!

No replies??? I guess I'll go the ScotchLok route... I'd like to have the lights tied to my high beams switch this weekend.
