Will be running 40"+ tires, fully locked on 1 ton axles. Right now it only has 29" tires for rollers and I still have to jump to get into it and I'm 6' 3". Its gonna be huge with another 5" or so from tires.

Hey Y'all! I have a 99 Ram Sport 4X4 with a 5 speed and 318. I was pulling a small backhoe down the road when I saw this Honda passing every one behind me... they got behind me, and when I slowed to make a left turn to another road, they thought they could pass me (in the inside, oncoming traffic lane). It made my day that, even with a 3,000 lb. load, they could'n't even keep up!

I've heard they're way slow. I know the old notch backs from the 80's and early 90's with the 5.0L only had 160 hp. My buddy ran his 03 1500 Z71 Sierra 5.3L against a 1998 5.0L Cobra and the cobra did not get ahead. Lame in my opinion that full size trucks will run with them...

you guys are crazy, the 87-93 5.0 stangs had, 225hp, not 160. they would and will outrun anytruck stock for stock by an assload short of a lightning or a srt10, this isa stupid thread, you guys think your doing something by almost outrunning a v6 stang, those had 150hp, big ****in deal guys!!! and no if a stang runs hot it will not warp, ive built alot of these engines, and no its not gonna happen, that tech guy is an asshat. Ive had a dodge ram with the 318 in it, and it sucked *****, anyone of my 5.0s (5) would murder one stock, you guys are comparing a sports car to a truck, and it makes no sense!!!
