Can some one please point me in the right direction for a new transmission in New England? Mines a 97 1500 v6 42re. It wont go into 3rd gear anymore. And reverse bearly moves like its stumbling. When in drive second gear keeps jumping in and out[:@] (torque converter?) But when i put it in 2 or one its fine. Please Help. Thanks!

 

Just a word of warning. You buy cheap, you'll get cheap. Call Roadmaster Transmission out of Chicago. 847-524-4857 I purchased a performance transmisison from them, the46re Pure Evil for around $2300 shipped to Minneapolis and it has all of the bells and whistles and even came with a new torque converter. If you're searching for a stock rebuild they do that also. Buy quality and you'll never be disappointed.
