Default Nasty noise

This was a while ago, probably like 2 months, but I really havent figured out waht the problem is...

I decided to take off my step bars on the side of the truck, and that included taking out the bolts that hold the cab to the frame. 2 of them were a complete bitch to get out, horibly tight... I ended up shearing one. I drilled the sheared bolt out, and tapped it out 1 size bigger and just used a different bolt obviously on it...

Right after this, if I go around a corner fast, or make a sudden sharp turn I hear a nasty clunk below me, it seems like it would be from the bolts that I just messed with that hold the cab to the frame, so i got down there and tightend the **** out of them and it seemed better.

Im fairly confident that this is what the problem is, but I am out of ideas of why its making this noise, they are really tight.

is there a special way to tighten these things? am i missing something?
It also seems to be worse if I have more people in the truck... (yes I checked, and its not my seat)

Any ideas?

when i put on my step bars, i removed the factory bolts (short) and replaced them with much longer bolts that came with the step bars. i'm wondering if one or more of your bolts might be too long, and be bottomed out on something, giving you a false feeling that they are tight.

haha!!!
Yep,I bet thats it.

I dont really know why I dident think of that. I noticed that the bolts I took out were factory, so i figured they came with the bars...

Ill stick some shorter stronger ones in there and see waht happens.
