i didn't get stuck this time which is good. but i did go through a huge deep mud puddle and i was just curious, when i hit this water i was flooring it in 4lo and well, what would cause the engine to instantly bog down to about 1000 rpms? i got no water up to my air cleaner i know that, i was just curious?

just from your tires instently(SP?) hitting the water. It's just like you running full sprint into a pool..you'll bog down too lol

 

It's normal. If you jump your truck it'll rev real high.
