Default Custom CB/Switch Mount

I couldn't find a CB mount that I liked and needed some more switches for various lights so I decided to build a custom box to mount the cb to and also add 4 switches and another power outlet as well. I built the box out of 1/4" plywood and then covered the box in automotive carpet, not a perfect match, I think it looks pretty good. Took me about 2 hours to build and fits pretty good to the floor and still lets me
bring the cupholder down... and yes with my girl sittin in the middle beside me she doesn't mind havin to swing her legs off to the side a bit

That box turned out nice. How do you have the wires running to you antennas in the back?

It looks good, but the only thing I'd be afraid of is if something spills out of one of those cups, it may short out one or all of those switches.

jbrowning - I ended up drilling a hole in the back of the cab and putting a grommit in there and sealed that all up with silicone. I just couldn't find any good way, I've seen people pinch em under a door and didn't want to even try that, and 18' coax isn't enough to make up through the plug in the firewall, so just bit the bullet and carefully made me a hole

Mayfair - Yeah I considered the spill issue bout the only thing that cup holders are ever used for is a spitter and cope can fits in there pretty good too and loose change and parts, not too worried bout that

Does that have a pa jack in it or just the external speaker jack. If it has the pa jack, is it the 75 wxst model or what is it. i like that set up but i want a pa (have it just looking for a new cb, mine died)

That looks good. I was going to do the same thing as rtmorrisjr and make a custome switch board for my ash tray but now I think I'm going to have to make a center switch board like yours.
