Just drove from Idaho to Arizona
I finally made it up to Idaho to pick up my 1996 Ram 4x4.
This truck had been my dad's work truck up until he passed away this summer. He only drove it out into the woods when the weather was bad. He was a logger.
It is a standard cab, long bed 4x4 with the 5.9 V8.
All in all it was a great trip. The truck drove like a dream. There are a couple little issues that I came across that I will post in a seperate message if I can't find the answer by searching around here.
I was shocked when I got 16.5 mpg for the trip, just over 1500 miles in 2 days.
Time for new tires, as the current ones are pretty bald. I am also going to replace the stereo. It has the infinity system, and I think that the speakers sound great, but I want to upgrade the head unit.
