Hey guys I have a 99 Ram 2500 5.9L V8, what I want is a exhaust system or even just a muffler that has that good, deep classic american v8 sound to it. Any suggestions? I don't want anything obnoxiously loud that blows windows out but it doesn't need to be real quiet either.

 

I personally like Turbo style mufflers. They're shorter than normal, have a good deep rumble, and only cost about $20. Planning on putting a pair on my Ram next year.

 

I have a Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flow muffler on mine. The Delta Flow is not as loud as the 2 chambered 40 that is typically heard. On highway the sound mellows out to a whisper. On take-off it gives that distinct Flowmaster sound. Not too loud, but just right for me.
