Default grinding noise

hey guys, when im drivin the truck around slow turns (parking lots or driveways) i hear what sounds liek a grinding scrubbing noise coming from the passenger side of the truck, its also pulling to the right all the time, but if I cut the wheel all the way to the left and move the truck, it sounds like tire rub, but there no signs of it, would that be a u joint in the front axel (its 4x4 by the way)

Your caliper could be stuck &dragging your pads thus making it pull to the right. Your TOE angle could be causing the pull also. Check the rotors n pads n caliper if you havent already.

I had the dame eact problem, jacked tire up and found right front wheel bearings bad. New hub assembly from advanced auto was $120, I did the work. If you can replace front brake pads, its not much more work. remove the axle nut, then remove the three bolts for the hub. they require a 14 mm 12-point.

Ya sound like wheel bearingthe way your describing the noise
Toe won't cause a pull, it will wear tire though.
Sticking caliper or other front endmisalignment can cause pull.

Does the noise get louder the faster you go ? Generally a wheel bearing will get louder the faster you are moving. Does the truck pull or is the steering wheel off-centered ? I have seen cases where - in an effort to hold their steering wheel straight - think the car is pulling. Kind of basic stuff but just wondering.

Sounds like a bad hub to me too. When you replace the hub do the axle ujoint since you have it that far apart anyway. The joint is probably toast too from the bad hub. (at least it was in my case) It's an easy job.
