Default Starting Problem 24 valve

I have a 1998 Dodge 3500 , 24 valve cummins. Experiencing a frustrating problem. When parked up hill, and left a few hours it will not start, get it turned downhill, roll it, and it will start. Replaced the overflow valve, and it started fine for a few days, then back to the same. Took it to the injection services that rebuilt the injection pump, just over a year ago, they analyzed it and could not find any codes. They again replaced the overflow valve, and it was OK for a couple of days, and now it won't start again on an incline. The other thting that may be coincidental is when I engage the exhaust brake, now there is a a 2 to 3 second delay, before it will accelarate. Hope someone else has experienced something similar. Thanking you in advance for any suggestions.

Yeah, sorry. I don't really know anything about a diesel. Except I wish I had one. Sounds like a fuel problem thought. Fuel pump maybe. Have a good mechanic chech it out.

Where you located?
