anti-spin, limited slip, and posi-traction are all generally the same thing. they use clutches to direct power away from a spinning wheel to the one that has traction (resistence).

Not all styles use clutches. The Detroit Truetrac uses Helical gears instead. The Truetrac in my opinion (If you want a LSD in the first place) is by far the best choice as they do not wear out like clutch pack style LSD's.
