Default ENGINE CUTOUT

When I slam down my accelerator from a stand still my motor seems to cut in and out, surges. It does not record any codes and I recently replaced the TPS module. Any suggestions?

Moe info about the truck wouls help...

Sounds like your hitting the rev limiter
I don't have any reason to rev my rig in park so I don't know if these rigs have a neutral/park rev limiter.

sounds like he is talking about flooring it from a stand still at a stop light. If that's the case, check your ignition system (distributor, cap, rotor, sparkplug, etc..) If you've never changed the spark plugs, they might not be emitting enough spark to handle all that fuel...hence the cut out. Check your air filter also, clean as necessary.

Sorry, I have a 99 Quad Cab 1500 4x4, 5.9l, auto trani. I have replaced the tps, cap, rotor, wires, plugs( iridium @.040), air filter , oil and muffler with flowmaster 40. I thought about the rev limiter. I have an obd 2 all in one interface, is there software available to tweek the rev limiter with this unit?
