Default Finding an HID kit

I am a little confused when trying to find an HID kit for my 2001 dodge ram 1500. I have the two bulbs in each headlight, one for highbeam and then a seperate one for low beam. Do they make an HID kit that accomodates for the the two seperate bulbs in each headlight, or am I going to need to buy two seperate HID kits for the headlights?? Help would be appreciated!!!!

from what i understand with HID upgrade kits... (from reaserching this awhile go for my ram) is that they go by the bulb part number...

so if you wanted to upgrade both lows and highs then youd have to get an upgrade kit for each... i can remember the bulb part numbers for our trucks... if someone remembers . chime in...

for instance... when you do find out the numbers then look up "XXXXX HID kit" at ebay and youll see what im talking about..

9004 for the standard ram headlight, I would assume that the sport is either that or a 9007. Both of these bulbs have dual filament designs. The online parts listing I used showed both for the 4 headlamp system.

Just my 2 cents here. If your going to buy an HID kit make sure you buy either a Japanese or German HID kit. Normally, from my past experience, the Chineese kits tend to be either, under powered, mismatched and under rated. One kit from Hong Kong which I bought for my wifes truck was not rated properly. It said it was a 10k Blue light, and it came as a purple light. It also wound up burning the headlight housing and charring the wires due to the poor quality of the control box. Normally the Bi-xenon are suppose to move up and down, and some move side to side. But the one I got for my wife did neither, even though it said It would.

So in my case for my truck, i believe the headlights are 9004. Does that mean I have to buy two 9004 HID kits? Hopefully someone out there makes kits that have two outlets on each kit so i dont have to buy 6 seperate HID kits, because i want to do the fog lights too!

No just one kit, it will have left and right bulbs and ballasts, I wouldn't worry about doing the 'Hi's' in HID just the lows.
I'm thinking about doing HIDs too, but I'mdebating on getting new lights. The OE lights are good enough, but new lights would look better.

Yeah you can definately find some super nice bright and white headlight bulbs from sylvania that are the next best thing to HID's, but there is just something about HID's that make EVERYONE look! It will look so badass at night when I'm at a stop light and my headlights and foglights are all HID's, and then I go roaring by with the exhaust system! Mmmm can't wait, love modding this black beast lol
