That's pretty cool.
If I were you I'd just buy a beater to put miles on (like an old cavalier or something)
so you can build up your truck. Car payments suck.
And that's why I sold the turbo system off my Mazda 3 and gave the car to my wife,
That money now is going to the Ram.
Yep car payments stink.

I would recomend going against the new Evo. Go for the 06 Special Edition if you want an Evo, it is the best setup Evo. I co-own a Subie/Evo performance shop so I do know a little about them. Paddel shifter are cool, but 06-07 STi's and 06 Evos both were 0-60 in 4.5. As far as gas mileage goes I was getting low 20's on a Stage 2 STi (until it got totaled), that was ALL city driving and sitting in traffic.

Also are you not considering the 06-07 Subie's (not the 08's cause they are ugly). EVO are more track based cars, Subie's are setup for more daily driving (nicer interior, Cruise control, etc.) all that little basic everyday things.

Also check your insurance, I have a clean driving record and I still paid a ton for insurance cause it is such a expensive car. And my last word of advice BUY GAPP INSURANCE, it could save you thousands.

Anyway good luck on whatever you decide

Well I have this year as a senior in highschool and I was in the shopping for a car that could handle driving 90 miles a day round trip to college. So I ended up deciding I want the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X w. a DOHC2.0 16 valve turbo 320hp/325tq engine. I just love the new look of them and the paddle shifters! Not to mention the 0-60 in under 4.5 secs... Im going up to norman ,OK to test drive one. ButI tell you this I will still have my Dodge to pull it!

Heres a link to a picture of a new evo!

The Haltech fuel managment would have worked fine with the Ram
but the IHI VF Dual Ceramic Ball Bearing Turbo would have been waaay too small for 318 ci.
If I do an FI car again it won't be an 8, I'll go back to a 4 again.
If anything I'll run the Ram NA, all engine.

oh I don't know about all that.
If only centrifigual superchargers weren't so expensive, you'd be seeing me write about it on the "what did you do to your ram today?" forum.

Hmm... Evo's and STi's have around 300hp and lose roughly 25% to the driveline. It should be close with the mustang. Must have some bad drivers in them.

Throw a turbo back, tune and mbc on that evo and look for 300+hp
