Default Stroker into a '94

I want to put a stroker in my '94. But from the research I've done you can't flash the pre OBD-II computers. Does anyone know what all would have to be changed to swap the PCM and wiring harness to a newer set up? I'm sure not all of the sensors are the same. And I know the intake is different too (not a big deal considering I was swapping that anyway). Thanks guys.

It would be cheaper to buy a 96 or newer without a motor. You could probably make it work, but you would assuredly have codes out the ***. The obdii pcms use a communication bus with several modules besides just the pcm. If you have an automatic trans it is probably a RH. Your newobd2 box will be looking for a RE. You can make a 408 run fine with the obd1 box just by tweaking injector size and installing programmable timing, or just going with a programmable engine management system.

You could always put a carb and stand alone ignition system and drive theSNOT out of it!

That is a big ****ing rip-off and has no discernable difference from the jet chip.

Well if you send them the info you want to put on the computer they will. The jet chip changes the inputs to the computer. This changes the peramiters of the computer. If you want it to be program fora 440 they will. NO JET CHIP CAN DO THAT. JETS ARE POS

As far as the trans codes go I'm having my trans redone anyway. Swapping to a RE wouldn't be a big deal. What do you mean by a "communication bus"? What would you recomend as far as programmable timing or EMS? I thought about going with a FAST or ACCELL DFI setup.

Thanks for all the input guys :-)
