changing my upper and lower radiator hoses with the t stat also today, i bought a regular heavy duty t stat from the local parts store , i swung by Summit to get some other stuff, and i thought what the heck maybe ill get that miloden t stat it looks a lot better than the stock one and it was around $14.00 plus i used a similiar one before in a old nova i had, but anyways it didnt fit, the tstat says ...............(Chrysler (All) and pre-67 390-428 ford)..... part #16406 180' Degree Thermostat, so if they give you this, it doesnt even fit in the tsat housing,,good thing i gotthe regular one before hand, just thought i would let you's know if you had the same idea that i had, the job isnt that bad just had to loosen the alt and move it a littleand remove the air cleaner housing then i could get to everything, laters have a good weekend
