no she is an automatic transmission, i am completely stumped at this point. when i get the truck back wednesday, ill check, but im pretty damn sure i couldnt have possibly missed a giant latch like that...wtf?

 

you had to of missed it. if it wasn't there then there would be a big hole in your dash. Unless sirhilton is right about them not being there on a manual, and yours was changed to a manuals dash. thats a possability too.

Well wait guys! I have ONE MORE possibilty here though... On a manual dashboard, is the airbag key towards the bottom of the dash? On my truck the airbag key is towards the bottom (where the little cubby is on most dodges), and then where the airbag key is on most dodges is just a hole there that one could stick their hand through, its bizzarre...So maybe this guy who owned my truck before parted out my dash, i dont even know, its ****ed up. But could that be a possibilty?

 

I wouldn't worry about it until you get your truck back and then you can check for sure...

Ive seen the air bag things in a few different spots, my friend has a identical ram to me same year and everything and its in the same spot, but its got differnt writing on it, ive seen a few in the cubby hole thing, and ive seen some have some little swivel flap thing where my airbag thing is, and if I remember right there is a power source under it.

Who knows.

my 01 offroad auto HAS the center pulldown cupholders.. and DOESNOT have anything written "offroad" on the passenger side air bag

lol man wtf was dodge thinking on this one? its not a big deal, but its just weird that they'd have so many scattered styles. Yeah it says OFF-ROAD right on the passenger side air-bag. Now if there is a cupholder, would the handle to it look like the glove boxe's handle? I guess what I should ask, is does anyone have pictures of their dashboard with the cupholder tray closed, so I could see what it looks like. Even if it is there, I've yet to spot it over he past 2 months, so this would be helpful lol
