My son thought his 96' 2wd 1500 PU (with 150k miles) was a 4 wheeler! It didn't like the abuse & died on him.
The engine will turn over, but not fire. I've checked voltage to the coil and it's zero when cranking the engine. That's about the extent of my "What to Check" knowledge.
Can someone please tell me where to go next?
Other than take the truck away from Mr. 4 Wheeler!

Sounds like an ignition problem. Trace it back from the coil and find where the power is coming from...
