I have a 1997 V-10 that just turned 250,000 Miles. This has got me thinking what are others got their V-10's to. I have had to rebuild the trans and the rear-end but nothing to the 8.3L V-10. Let me know.
How much more do you think I will be able to push out of it?

 

Mine's a 1999 and I've only got 83,000. It's the 8.0.

 

its not how much more can you push out of it its can you afford it wdith the gas and the 8.3L engine? lol

 

with 12 to 14MPG fulling loaded and with a trailerin my v-10 8.3L I am not much off of what you get
in you 5.9L

 

Hi was browsing posts looking for info on the v10's.
I purchased a 1999 3500 with a v10 a year ago. It now has 140,000 miles doesn't use a drop of oil and seems to still run pretty strong. I had trouble with the transfer case and had to put a new water pump on it and so far knock on wood thats the only trouble. You Pickup with 250000 miles does it still run good and how many miles does it have now ?
