I got that 2001 dodge ram off-road 1500, when i open the hood theres a giant silver radiator and then attached right to the front of it is an almost equally as big of "radiator looking" device attached to the front thats all black. Is that a giant transmission cooler, or is it some kind of a/c condenser? Just curious guys

 

That's the AC condenser. If you happen to have a factory auxillary cooler, it will more then likely be between the condensor and the radiator. It would be much smaller, maybe 8"x10". I think the off-road Rams cam with one too.

 

look for two pipes on the passenger side going in between the radiator and the the A/Ccondenser. They'll be parallel to each other and going in at a slight downward angle. That's the pipes connected to auxillary tranny cooler.

 

awesome yes have those two pipes, they look like the tubes ive seen on a/c's...thats good to know tho! thx guys!
