SOS Engine Problems
My truck is not running right. I need help. Before it was idling to low almost stalling, now it is not. When everit gets up in high RPMs the engines Starts to bogg down. It sounds like I'm putting a load on it, like towing a heavy trailer. It's a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 3.9L V6 RWD. I've changed the IAC and the fuel pump and filter are brand new. Im at a brick wall. I need to get back into a truck again, I'm sick of driving my Dad's Girlfriend's Subaru Forester, it's so degrading. Please help me!
failure to rev up to higher rpm's is likely a clogged up catalytic converter. your local muffler shop and check it for you. if so, and if you want to do any exhaust mods, it would be a good time to do it all.
