Default Problem with getting my power steering pump out.

Ok so I am taking apart my engine so I can paint/do some maintanence to it, I am stuck on a stupid bolt on my power steering it is on the bracket that holds the fluid resevoir up and it is a bolt with a ground wire on it and then it looks to be another nut after the the ground towards the block.

I put a wrench on the nut and a ratchet on the bolt and tried as hard as I could to get it off and it wouldn't break free, the bolt was spinning but when it spins it twirls the ground up with it and the nut holding the ground down spins too therefore I cannot remove this bolt.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there are some narrow vice grips out there that you could try, other than grounding down the right sized wrench for the bolt under the nut & ground wire, that' probably your best option.

I can get the wrench in there, and the socket on the bolt but I just cant break both of them apart , I turn each the opposite way and everything at the same time and it just won't break free.

try squirting some liquid wrench or pb blaster on the top nut so it can loosen up some. should come apart if you can get a wrench on the lower bolt...
