tire chirp... wheel bearing?
latly ive noticed a chirp when im turning sharp to the right slowly like in a parking lot when turning into a spot, the chirp is from the front right area.... its not like the tire chirping but sounds like a bird in there chirping... could this be my wheel bearing? i just did the brakes less than 3k miles ago and put newceramic pads and rotors on so im hoping its not the brakes again.... wheel bearing?
When my wheel bearings went out, they made a grinding noise when turning. Easy to check, lift the side of the axle in question, grab the tire at 12 and 6 o'clock and give it a shake.
My thought? If its not a sticking caliper bolt causing the pads to touch, then it might be a u-joint.

is it a repetitive chirp? Possibly the power steering pump pulley locking and unlocking causing the belt to slip? <longshot. Or just the stopper on the steering rack possibly?
Just brakes, they sometimes chirp from turning. Either your bads are just barally worn down to the wear indicator, or it will just go away after a short time when they wear a hair more.
its been doing it for like 2 weeks now, and now its doing it when i turn left or right.... its not the belt chirping its def a metal on metal chirp... getting a lil louder too... the calliper bolts didnt seem to be stuck the rubber grommets were free and slid in and out no prob ill try fiddling with the brakes this weekend maybe see if something sitting funny
Mine did the same. Does your truck have a LSD? That was my problem. I just changed the differential fluid and added the Kendall LSD additive. I'm a huge believer in the stuff. Chirping and/or whining went away...
How can i tell if its limited slip? according to the glove box its a dana 44... i know the rear tires do one wheel tire fires when i get on it so no lsd?

well took the brakes completly apart greased up everything, put antiseaze on any moving parts (where applicable) freed the brakes all up, changed out the front diff fluid, and the sqeak is still there... its def a metal on metal sqeak... checked the wheel bearing with the hands and 6 and 12 thing, no play what so ever, so nowim stumped any ideas? its only at like parking lot speeds when turning into a spot or backing out, now it squeaks turning left or right so im stumped
u know i have a problem with chirping the tires when i shift into 2nd gear cant figure out why it does it lol
dont want to sound like a smart *** but could it be that slick black top because i squeal over that or is it a diffrent sound and does it happen like any turn or only on like a full lock turn
