Remote Start Problem

Default Remote Start Problem

I have a factory remote start, and when i try to use it i get this....

sounds horrible, like the starter is still engaged and it cuts off after 3 or 4 seconds

what do yall think?

Your starter is definetly still trying to crank. Might be a bad tach wire.

Post a picture of your keyless remote. I didn't think that these trucks came with "factory" remote start...

i will... thats what the previous owner said, "it came on there stock" could be the one before him put it in, but its old as hell

it sounds like the r/s could be set on voltage sense, where you set your own crank time. If they previous owner was a complete idiot with programming it, it may be set on a 3 or 4 sec.crank time. If they put it on tach mode, you may just need to re-teach the tach signal.
