Hey Gang, I've decided to sell my truck and think I'll replace it witha Jeep Wrangler. I just don't need the power or towing capacity the Dodge offers anymore.

The truck has 119K miles and is in GREAT shape and runs like a dream. The tires (Kuhmo tires 285/75-17) only have 1600 miles on them! Also new brakes and rotors, new steering gear box, and stabilizer, new front speakers.

The ball joints are in good shape and ALL u-joints have been replaced in the last 10K miles. The transmission works perfect and the rear differential was professionally rebuilt approx 35K miles ago.

Sorry to seeyou go, one hella deal though on that price, someone should ****** it up real quick. I have basically the same truck as you and paid considerably more than that but I have only 65K, wish I'd waited though. Sweet truck and good luck!

 

I'm not going too far...after-all I'm still planning to stay in the Mopar family. I hope somebody buys it soon as I've found a couple of Jeeps that I like. I know I could trade it in but I'm tired of making Dealers rich on the profit they get from the low $$ trade-in price I receive.

If it sells, it sells, if not, then I still have a decent truck that I'll continue to drive.

 

Well I traded the rig in today, but not for a Jeep. After a lot of consideration, and due to the fact that we still have our Sport Trac as a pickup and 4x4,the wife and I decided that the best thing for our family would be a car. So this morning I found an '04 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and WOW is this thing fast!!! That Supercharged V6 is awesome!

Yes, I'm going to miss the Dodge 4x4 especially this winter....BUT, I'm not going to miss the 11 mpg or the $75 fill-ups every four days! The Dodge has been an over-allgreat truck and was fun (but expensive) to drive.

So I want to thank you folks for the advice that I've drawn from this website. I think I'll still visit from time to time as my folk's still own a '99 SLT 4x4 and I may need some info to keep their truck rolling.
