52 mm Fastman TB, gibson headers (or equiv) K&N FIPK (50 state legal) flowmaster exhaust, crower 1.7 roller rockers... are good starting points.

KRC performance.com for cam info and Hughes engines.com for the heavy duty heads. bare castings are something like $270ish IIRC... and they will outflow the r/t's. stock heads crack between the valve seats.

Miss now n then could be cracked heads. As far as adding upgraded heads and a bigger cam go, better do something with the computer cause I guarantee you will be running lean if you dont.(may needbigger injectors as well depending on cam duro/lift) Youwill not see as much gains without pcm upgrade (B&G flash).

You can't put a big cam in these without reprogramming the computer. It won't know what to do with such a big cam and it will run like crap. Reason being they're not Mass Air Flow Engines, it kinda sucks.
