Just went through a mini-saga with a thermostat. Originally bought a 180* at AutoZone for the whopping price of $2.99 (don't ask me why - I was just there for something else). It lasted about 1500 miles and then started acting up (opening too soon). Replaced it with a Stant Super-Stat from Pep-Boys ($8.99) and it is working fine. I'm pretty sure that it is the same one as NAPA (they sell it under there own name).
