taylor thundervolt or m s d which is better
are they worth the money, and if so is one better than the other,i bought autolite double platinums to go with them, and still need a cap and rotor, any suggestions.
ORIGINAL: aim4squirrels
Accel makes a good cap and rotor, but anything with brass contacts should get the job done.

i have MSD 6a box
ACCEL 9000 Wires - similar to MSD super conductor(i recommend over ACCEL)
MSD Blaster 2 Coil
Bosch Iridium Fusion plugs
BUT still have Mopar cap and rotor....
just havent had to time to stop and pick up a brass one...
but honestly... havent had any problems
have had this set up for about 5-6 months truthfully
ummm i really haven'y noticed a HUGE change in performance...
but that could honestly be because of the Mopar cap+ rotor(i havent replaced them in FOREVER!)[:@]
im sure i will when i change my cam/lifters/springs + new computer i will

From my experience, I'd suggest the Taylor Extreme Service if they're available for your truck. I installed those along with a MSD Billet Dist. and Blaster coil on a chevy motor we built5 years ago. They're flawless and worth every penny. They handled 3 years and 90,000 miles of towing snowmobiles and quads between Ohio & Michigan. Just my 2 cents.
i too am curious, taylor is what im looking at the 8.2's but the msd's just sound like a better brand if that makes any sence[&:], i have heard nothing but good from either so... good luck
