msd ignition please help

On hughes engines there is an ignition kit. it comes with a new msd coil, taylor wires, accel distributor cap/rotor and an msd 6a ignition. I was wondering if the msd 6a will work with my stock ECM on my 96 5.9l. Also will it really give me much more power with this kit?

yes it will work.

you will notice a little difference, but it's not earth shattering or anything.
