Toughest 46RE

I havea 1996Dodge 1500 4x4 with the 46RE. And guess what? My transmission is shooting craps, can you imagine that?
I know I can buy a new one from mopar with a warrantybut I dont really want the same crappy transmission. So Who makes the toughest 46RE or rebuild kit.

You could put a 47re in instead. I'm pretty sure it'll bolt up
