Default Help me decide on a custom hood.

Well after IndyRamMan put on his 68 Road Runner scoop I decided to look around, but I looked at a few different options and need help deciding.

I think the lines of these hoods would flow well with the truck, I might just leave the stock hood but if you had to choose between the two what would you choose?

Somehow I would like to make one of these work or like I said leave it stock, you help me decide.

A couple of options. I like the cowl induction (Viper style) from LMC.

I got the viper hood on my truck. Its still primered but it'll look great once I get everything painted. Its a metal hood and everything bolts right up.You can find it a little cheaper on ebay.Probably a hundred bucks cheaper. It is not a functional cowl though.

I know you like to be unique with your ram, like I do, so Id assume that you wouldnt want something that everyone else has, like I didnt. There are very few options for aftermarket hoods, and you can be sure that youll see another ram driving arround with one of those hoods every week. IMHO Id bolt up a scoop. Its unique as heck, and the feel of driving arround with one is just awesome. Every time I ride arround it feels like im in an old muscle car. My personal favorite hood/scoop is the shaker scoop hood. Its expensive, but amazing.

Well I know you made the comment about the mustang scoop but what about a Boss 429 scoop? That would look B/A I think.

I like the one you showed me, for that price it better include everything else not just the hood.
