I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.9 L. I just bought the truck and it is really clean. This is the second time that the check engine light has come on with the code (P1740). I know what the toruble code reads, but where do I start on fixing the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? I hate having the check enging light on because it makes me feel like Im making things worse. Otherwise the truck has no symptoms.. (eg jerking or hesitation) --runs fine.
