I currently have astock 2001 Ram 2500 4x4. I was wondering if anyone knows what is involved in swapping my current motor for a G3 ('03-06) engine. Will the the G3 align (and work) with my current tranny? I assume that I will need a new brain box or is it possible to upgrade my current one?

I would like to hear from anyone that has had the experience, whether good or bad and what the cost was for such a project.

On a side note, I have been having the typical front suspension issues that I have read in many articles. My truck tends to wander and will not return to a true position. I found website that offers a steering stabilizer kit to fix this problem. Has anyone installed this kit and, did it fix your issue? I have included the link below:
