What yall think about the twin intake?
Get what you pay for , Volant is mostly true cold air induction....that is whatever is ambient.
What Steve05 says and others is true. The location of the intakes over the exahust manifold is going to take in the hottest; lowest oxygen count; air in the bay. However the EPA would probaly love it. 20:1
A typical engineperforms best fedthe densest (coldest) air. I am not going intoit here. Look at why nitrous works. There are other schools here too. Henry (Harry, Gregory) "Smokey" Yunick's HVCE.
google that name.
Ever notice how much more power you have on a cold day....
.... if it just for engine bay looks...each to hisor her own.
Here is a page withnumbers and factsand most all the choices.. http://www.coldairintakeshop.com/

If you have stock exhaust manifolds then you are looking at more heat. This intake sits up off the engine quite nice. If you have headers which disipate heat quickly you have nothing to worry about. The engine bay on our Rams is pretty open. How much hot air do you think stays in there at speed? It works.
I agree with you greenmachine. I plan to be running headers in the very near future, so I definately would like to buy this twin intake kit. Firstly, it's way cheaper than the volant cold air intake, and secondly, it looks a lot more cool too!
