Re-using fluid is a horrible idea. I can understand doing it in rabblers case, but if you saw (and more importantly smelled) the oil that came out of my rear diff... whew nooo way.

My cousin has a 75 camaro. Trust me its not that hard to spin both on a open diff. Okay and its torsen. I didnt know they came on the gen4 camaros but they didnt come on any dodge and no aftermarket even for dodge. check out their website.http://www.torsen.com/files/Torsen%2...on%20Chart.pdf

Andy, I would take my diff cover off but it wouldn't do much good since its just the housing, and the ring and pinion because I removed it today.

I dont know if you figure it out yet. But there should be a metal tag on your diff. they have numbers and letters on them, those will tell you whats in there. But from your description it sound like you dont have posi, any diff can burn both tires in rain or dirt.
