Default any ideas what this is?

so my tire went flat lastnight, this is what i pulled out of my tire.... anybody have any idea what it is? is it a part of my truck i should be worried about? its about 4 pennies high too. its a big hunk of metal.

knda looks like your air fill tube for that tire, but its missing the threaded end...

its solid metal no hole in it, the end looks like it was cut with bolt cutters

I don't know what it is, but I really doubt it's from your truck. Probably just some road debris.

i work at a gas station and ive seen some big things come out of tires but this is a record taker lol, i was pulling it out and it just kept comming out it like didnt end lol, stupid house construction by my house prob dropped it in the road, they madea shortcut down my street to get to the site instead of having them use the front entrance

wife called one time she had a flat tire at work. summertime in ga. it was about 95 deg. went home and got the floor jack, had 4-way, patch kit, 12v compressor in truck. jacked up her explorer and rotated tire around to what looked like a nail. grabber ahold and pulled it out - it was a piece of a rat tail/chain saw file about 4 inches long. 2 tire plugs and 12volt compressor and we're good to go, other than dripping wet in the middle of a hot asphalt parking lot. by the way, the hole was so big it never would stay sealed with the plugs - ended up having to replace it.

shoulda ran down to local tire shop and got a tire patch sticks on the inside of the tire and woulda fixed that up lol
