Default 99 3500 dually ABS

Ok, I recently bought a 99 3500 with 97k on the clock. Tonight when I started it the ABS and brake light stayed on. I checked the emergency brake release just because. I recently had the same problem on a 98 Dakota. Does the Ram 3500 use the same speed sensor arrangement as the Dakota?

Thanks

Rear or 4 wheel ABS?
The rear sensor is in the top of the diff. Check the wiring by the diff for breaks. Remove the sensor and clean it off. Sometimes metal particles collect on it and can cause a code (it's magnetic).
Check the fuses under the hood and the brake fluid level.
Other than that you'll have to take it somewhere and check for fault codes

Checked the brake fluid. It was full.. How do I tell if it is rear only or four wheel ABS?

If you have wiring by both front hubs then it's 4 wheel ABS
