Default 3500 advice

I have recently purchased a 8.0 a/t 3500 dually with 97k. What are normal or preventive maintenance things these trucks need to remain relatively trouble free? I want to head off any catastrophic failures to the truck or my wallet. I don't mean oil changes, but what are known issues like timing chain life, ball joints, transmission, brakeor differential problems?

Well am I to assume these trucks have no problems or that I have the only one in existance?

If abused some trans fail alot, but it relaly does seem to be hit and miss. Mine has 126k original on it no problem. If you plan to tow I would get a shift kit, Trans-Go makes good ones, and change the fluid VERY regularly with ATF +4
