My county has a dump site you can take old fluid to. They don't charge. Check the website of your local or county gov't to see if you've got something like this.

as far as i know, all jiffy lubes have antifreeze recycling drums. that's where i've always taken my old stuff. one of the guys there said they have to take it, and it's illegal to charge for the disposal. dunno if that's true, just what the dude said.

Use the walmart brand, (it's light in color, don't let it scare you) mix it 50/50 with water, mix any more antifreeze than that your mixing for places in north Canada.
Make sure you use distilled/filtered water and try to drain the block. If you can't get the drain bolts off the block make sure you flush a few times. Don't forget to turn the temp control to hot.

The standard Dodge Ram is a 20 quart system or 5 gallons.
It's only like 11 quarts I thought.
